Nepean Triathlon - A new experience

My first Aussie race this season and my first free drafting race ever, was this morning in Perith (one hour drive from home), thanks Clifford's family for the stay and specially Jess for pick me up!

It was a good race to start and to take notes, what do I need to improve and in wich things should I be pay more attention, be more carefull and dedicated.

I had the 8 place in general elite and 2 place in my category.

Distance: 1k swim - 30k bike - 10k run
Super Sprint: 300mt swim - 8k bike - 2k run (1 hour after)

As you know after Singapore I came to Australia to train with Mick, my coach, to follow MY dreams, be a professional triathlete and train, sleep, eat, and think like one.

Thats why I'm starting to feel new sensations and everyday I fall in love again with my sport, been a professional athlete is a risk and I'm proud to say that I took that risk and also that when I wake up in the morning, I open my eyes and I think... Today is going to be an amazing day because I love what I do.

I'm pretty sure that if you love what you do and you do what you love you are going to be happy so take your opportunity and don't be afraid.

Sumary of this month

Wednesday - Run with Kangaroos in the national park!

Thursday - Run in the rain.
Me: It's raining crazy and hard outside
Mick: (laughing) We are going to get wet!

And that was the begining of a crazy and absolutely fun run with a lot of water, believe me that it was like running inside the pool.

Friday - Ice bath
It's Cold cold colddd!!!! that was my fist time inside the ice now it's better but I have to say that it hurts.

Friday - Criteriu races
Skills, fun, and pain.
